American Heroes and Heroines from History and Folklore
A great kick-off or closing event for your 2015 Summer Reading Program! This entertaining program brings to life the stories of heroic Americans, including those from New York State and your local area. Rachel and Rebecca select stories and tailor their presentations to the age of their audiences and enliven their performance with songs and audience participation. Children will leave the event happy and eager to learn more about their new heroes and heroes.
Program time: approximately 45 minutes with additional time for children’s comments and questions.
